Caroline Kinney is an actor, singer, dancer, creative artist, and educator based in the Washington D.C. area. She grew up in Leesburg, VA, where she tapped into the vibrant and thriving theatre community from a young age. As her love of theatre and performing grew, she continued to hone her skills in numerous productions; followed by college and private lessons.
Caroline is a 2021 graduate of the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts (NCDA) based in Washington D.C. where she holds a Certificate of Acting. While a student at NCDA—she studied Realism, Scene Study, Voice & Movement, Ancient Greek Theatre, Shakespeare, Commedia Dell’Arte, Acting on Camera, Improvisation, & Technical Theatre. During her tenure, Caroline continued her journey to develop into a well-rounded artist and was inspired to create art that can change the world.

In her desire to learn all aspects of the business, Caroline is currently employed as a Theatre Teacher at StageCoach Theatre Company located in Ashburn, Virginia. Specializing in teaching ages 5-12, her work at StageCoach Theatre Company has given her the opportunity to work closely with children to ensure they have a fulfilling theatrical learning experience. In the future, Caroline hopes to continue working with StageCoach Theatre Company in new and challenging ways.
Caroline is a soprano with a strong belt and has an affinity for contemporary music. She has studied voice privately for over ten years and has given numerous virtual recitals during the pandemic. She also relishes a solid acting role whether musical or dramatic and embraces variety & the challenges that presents. Frequently an ingenue, she is kind and loving yet very passionate and driven. Honest and often outspoken, she might just be part Taylor Swift and part Emma Roberts.
Caroline has big dreams and is pursuing a professional theatrical career that will also include film and television. As well as studying to become an educator in both theatre and the general classroom. Additionally, she has ambitions of writing, directing & producing new creative works. She loves to travel, spend time with family and is a fierce tap dancer (on demand)!​​

On Friday, March 21st, 2025--Caroline performed a Cabaret repertoire of pop and musical theatre songs at Earp's Ordinary in Fairfax, Virginia. Accompanied by Donna Green, this Cabaret was well-attended and received a wonderful reputation throughout the local music scene.

Thursday, January 16th, 2025

On Thursday, January 16th, 2025--Caroline performed in the role of "Jacinta/A boy" in Little Theatre of Alexandria's Staged Reading production of "Fuenteovejuna." Directed by Jessie Roberts, this classic play written by Spanish playwright Lope de Vega in 1619--this production brought a classic piece of theatre to a modern audience.
THE TAMING
September 12th-13th, 2024

On September 12-13, 2024--Caroline performed in the role of Katherine in Capital One Hall's Staged Reading production of "The Taming." Directed by Jessie Roberts, this humorous, topical, & culturally significant play was very well-received by the audience and they connected with the material.
THE PROM
April 19th-May 5th, 2024

For three weekends from April 19th-May 5th, 2024--Caroline performed in the role of Student Ensemble in Reston Community Players' production of "The Prom." Directed by Liz Mykietyn, this uplifting, bighearted, and inspiring musical was incredibly well-received by audiences of all ages and received rave reviews from the DC theatre community.
OLIVER!
July 14th, 15th, & 16th, 2023

In July 2023, Caroline performed in the role(s) of Charlotte Sowerberry and Milkmaid in Prince William Little Theatre and Manassas Symphony Orchestra's production of "Oliver!" Directed by Melanie McCleerey, this entertaining and impactful musical was very well-received by audiences at Merchant Hall as part of the Hylton Center for the Performing Arts in Manassas, VA. "Oliver!" received a rave review from DC Theater Arts.
